The Jupiter 631 - ll clarinet is an excellent ‘value for money’ student instrument. This clarinet has recently been much improved to include silver plated keys and an attractive wood resin finish. It has an adjustable thumb rest to suit hand size and a ring for a sling attachment if needed.

The Lyons C clarinet allows children to move at their own pace without the hindrances of weight and finger stretch. No longer will children be asked to 'try again next year' because their hands are not big enough. Many teachers now start their pupils on the instrument as a matter of principle. Also adults have bought the instrument, attracted to its price.

Musicale offers an £80 trade-in when the child is big enough to move on to the Bb clarinet, provided the instrument has been paid for in full. Experience has shown that most children use the C clarinet for 2 - 3 years.
