Ensembles

We actively encourage our students to join an ensemble as soon as they feel confident with a few notes and written music. Ensembles offer another dimension to playing an instrument including sight-reading and aural skills whilst listening and playing with others. We have regular concerts and performances both at Musicale and externally for our ensembles. We take part in local events such as the Harpenden Carnival and Christmas Lights Switch On and support the local community with music groups in the primary schools and care homes.

We offer a free taster session for all our ensembles.
