Chian Lim

Chian Lim teaches Violin and Viola at Musicale.

Singapore-born Chian Lim received a scholarship to study viola at London’s Royal College of Music, where he trained in chamber music under the Chilingirian Quartet and members of the Juilliard and Cleveland Quartets.

He has performed on BBC Radio 3 with the Endymion Ensemble and Lontano and appeared frequently at Wigmore Hall with chamber groups such as the Guildhall Strings.

In 2014, Chian joined the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and served on its Board of Directors from 2016 to 2019.
