Student Roles

All students are offered an on-stage role in the production. When booking you can indicate prior experience and interests. Please note that roles are allocated by the teaching team during the course, with learning, balance and ensemble experience as the priority. Precedence is typically given to experienced students who submit audition videos (see below).

As with any production, we cannot guarantee lead roles to everyone who asks, so your understanding will be appreciated – every student will have their chance to shine!

Course Details:

  • Previous performances include: Annie Jr, Aladdin Jr, Sister Act Jr, Bugsy Malone Jr. This year’s performance is TBC.
  • Dates: 3 – 7 August 2025
  • Times: 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday Wrap-around care available from 8.30am-5.30pm.
  • Performance: 6.30pm Friday 7th August
  • Location: Katherine Warington School, Lower Luton Road, Harpenden AL5 5FH
  • Audition video: [Optional, but recommended for those seeking a leading role]: Send a short (30 seconds – 2 minutes) video to katie@musicale.co.uk of your child highlighting their singing and acting skills once you have completed your registration.
  • Fee: £230 per child per week

No Experience? No Problem!

The students on our musical theatre course do not need any previous musical experience – just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to engage in the script and choreography!
