Saturday Strings
Playing in a string group is a brilliant way for children to build confidence, make friends, and enjoy music together. At Saturday Strings, young players learn to listen, follow a conductor, and play as part of a team—all while having fun! It’s a great way to improve their skills, explore exciting music, and feel proud of what they can achieve. Whether they’ve just started and can only play open strings or have been playing for a while, Saturday Strings is a warm and welcoming place to grow.
Saturday Strings meets every Saturday morning from 10 – 11am and is directed by Amanda Newman. It is for children who play Violin, Viola, Cello and mini bass of approximately Grades 0 – 3.
There are 10 sessions a term costing £90.
