Since 1977, Musicale Harpenden has nurtured the musical talent of thousands of musicians. From our wonderful base in Harpenden, Musicale continues to evolve, offering opportunities for every age and stage, from early learners to advanced performers and adults rediscovering their instrument. Whether it’s your first violin lesson, joining a weekly orchestra, or taking part in one of our renowned holiday courses, you’ll find expert teaching and a lively, supportive atmosphere. With over four decades of experience, we blend traditional musicianship with helping each student build lasting skills, friendships and confidence.

Playing a musical instrument is known to develop confidence, discipline, co-ordination, self-esteem, and academic enhancement. We provide daytime music lessons in local schools including in our own building at Musicale for St. George’s school Harpenden, adult learners and homeschoolers as well as after school and Saturday lessons for everybody. Our inspiring community is always growing and we work hard to give you a great experience. 

Our experienced team and tutors are passionate about inspiring the next generation of musicians. Families stay with us for years, progressing through lessons, ensembles and courses.
